This is a fantastic instrument, with an even more amazing story. I have the original flight case, but it's beat up and was that way when I purchased the guitar (dented, foam detached), I think this Gator TSA case fits it excellent. Includes COA and Candy. I did replace the TonePros inserts on the bridge with the exact part as the original, TonePros parts (except in black) because the original parts were ceased up on adjustment, all original parts are included in purchase. Washburn SI91 “Murder Weapon” (USA Custom Shop Scott Ian Signature) — full rundown.
This is the limited USA Custom Shop version (not the later production SI60/SI61 Murder Weapon models). Only 15 were made (around 2007). Each one was personally distressed, blood-splattered, signed, and numbered by Scott Ian of Anthrax. The USA Custom Shop is long closed, so these are one-offs.
Construction
- Body: Solid mahogany, double-cutaway (pointed/symmetrical cutaways)
- Neck: Mahogany, set-neck construction (deep-set V-neck profile on the related high-end Ian Pro models)
- Fingerboard: Ebony with exclusive Scott Ian “Anthragram” (Anthrax-themed pentagram-style) inlays

- Nut: Buzz Feiten Tuning System (compensated nut for better overall intonation — standard on high-end Washburns of that era)

- Unique “Murder Weapon” blood-splatter finish, hand-applied and deliberately distressed by Scott Ian (scrapes, marks, “aged” battle-worn look). No two are identical.
