This is an extremely rare matchles GPR-1.
It sounds incredible! It’s in great working order. I’ve heard some describe the ch1 as a lightning and ch2 as a chieftain preamp. That’s not true. These are unique designs by mark sampson. These might be the last designs Sampson produced before leaving matchless. He left all designs except for the GPR-1 drawings, he took them when he left. The story is these were so labor intensive that matchless lost money on every piece. The type of harmonics this thing can produce is incredible. It was just given the all clear by an employee at matchless. I live by the matchless so I will probably ship from the matchless factory in a matchless box. Because this is so rare it will be packaged extra carefully. Comes with the road case for extra protection.
