This Fender American Ultra Stratocaster is probably the most comfortable and inviting Strat I've picked up in a long home... but this one was hardly played by the original owner (more on that later). All the right specs, classic looks and fantastic Fender build quality, but with modern specs:
- Attractive Ultra Burst finish with maple fretboard and mint green pickguard (nicely muted mint)
- HSS configuration with Ultra Double-Tap humbucker (by Tim Shaw) and Ultra Noiseless Single Coils
- S-1 button in the volume knob activates the Double Tap feature on bridge humbucker, which engages a specially calibrated single-coil voice that matches output levels with the neck and middle pickups.
- Treble Bleed Circuit built into the volume control to keep your high-end clarity intact when rolling back the volume knob.
- Fender American 2 point Tremolo Bridge with block steel saddles for ultra comfort (trem arm included)
- NECK: This neck is incredibly comfortable and perfectly sculpted. Delicately rolled fretboard edges and nice fretwork. Compound fretboard radius (10"-14"). The tinted maple looks incredible.
- Fender Deluxe locking tuners with all short posts
- CASE & CASE CANDY: original Deluxe molded TSA hardshell case included. Also includes trem arm, COA, Fender manual, hang tags, case key and more (see photos)
- CONDITION: The original owner is an elderly man who bought this brand new, along with 3 other guitars. The only action it got was a some short and gentle couch picking sessions. Never toured, traveled or gigged. Always stored in case when not in use. I see some superficial marks on the tummy cut, probably from plastic buttons on his shirt. They'll likely buff out. There's a very small mark near the bridge, only slightly visible if you catch the light just right. I tried to show it in the close up with a guitar pick for reference. There's also a small light glare in that photo.
This is a fantastic guitar bundle, ready to get to work. It'll hold up for decades of regular use. It's built to be played (or to fill a spot in your collection)!
