This is an Original Vintage 1965 Fender Mustang Guitar with its Original Fender Case (#572). This Mustang has its original vintage nitrocellulose Fender Blue finish with most of the original Fender clear-coat finish that has yellowed, giving it a green seafoam-ish tint in areas. This 1965 Fender Mustang Guitar was keep in excellent working and playing condition and has the comfortable 22 Fret - 24" scale "B" Neck, with a Dark Rosewood fret board and maple neck, and the 1-5/8" width at the nut. The neck has a Neck Date butt stamp of 8 JUN 65B with its original early style Fender 2 Line Kluson Tuners, and its Original Fender Mustang decal that is in excellent condition. The original nut is very good with no chips, with the rosewood fretboard's original pearl dot inlays, and the original frets and fretboard showing light play wear as shown in the photos. The back of the neck shows light finish wear, and has only the original finish with no overspray or refinish. The neck plate number is L90433. The neck is straight and the truss rod adjustable. The guitar has that great vintage Mustang FenderPre-CBS sound, with both of its original early 1965 gray bobbin pickups signed and dated (8-10-65)AS. Its original Fender three layer Pearl Flake White beveled pick guard is in excellent condition with no cracks or breakage. The Neck Pickup has a reading of 6.2k ohm, and the Bridge Pickup has a reading of 5.9k ohm. The original CTS Control Pots are both dated (137-6528) have been cleaned and function quietly and smoothly. Both of the pickup switches have been replaced and function quietly and smoothly. The Original Mustang bridge and saddles are in very good condition and adjust easily, along with the rare and hard to find original Vibrato whammy Bar that is included. The guitar weighs 7lb.2oz. The included Original Tolex Fender Burnt Orange lined Case is in Very Good Condition. The chrome plating on all the hardware of the guitar is very good, and all of the original plastics are without any cracks or chips. The Original Vintage Fender finish has play wear, yellowing, checking, dings or scratches, with worn edge wear, but nothing that affects its playability.to avoid order cancellation.
